Bike to Bay Saturday, 5/22/2010 10am-2pm Enjoy a family bike ride to the Palo Alto Baylands Preserve and support Hope Technology's main fundraiser for this school year. Course starts at the HTS parking lot, follows the Renzel Trail to Shoreline Park, and returns to the HTS parking lot. Loop includes three hydration tents with fun incentives to keep going and a shuttle van for course transportation as needed. All ages and ability level are welcome and encouraged to bike, scooter, rollerblade or walk! Click here to register online.

Participants collect pledges for Hope Technology School, www.hopetech.org.
Pledge revenues are to be turned in to school or mailed in by Friday, May 28, 2010.
In addition to registration fee, a family sponsorship is available for $50, and will be acknowledged on the back of the logo T-shirts.
This is a family-friendly event; all ages and ability level are welcome and encouraged to bike, scooter, rollerblade or walk their miles to support the school! (Baylands does not allow dogs on the trail.)

 | Hope Technology School Book Fair 2010 March 28-April 2, 2010
HTS is partnering up with Banana Seeds Books & Media for a week-long, book filled event on March 28th -- April 2nd. Be sure to mark your calendar with these fun upcoming events you'll hate to miss!
- Sunday, March 28, 2-4 pm -- BOOK FAIR KICK-OFF is taking place in the BACC main auditorium. Come enjoy treats, find out who the bookmark contest winners are and browse the wonderful, hand-picked selection of books. This book fair event is open to all HTS families and our community.
- Monday, March 29 -- Friday, April 2 -- HTS students will have an opportunity to shop the book fair as a class during school hours. Feel free to come and join your child at their class shopping time and help them purchase their books.
- Monday, March 29, 7-8pm -- BEDTIME STORY: All pre-K through 5th grade children are invited to a special bedtime story event. Wear your favorite PJ's, and come on down to the BACC main auditorium for story time and yummy desserts.
- Thursday, April 1, 7-9pm -- MOVIE NIGHT: All middle school age children are invited to watch a movie on the big screen, complete with popcorn!
- Friday, April 2, 2:30-3:30pm -- AFTER SCHOOL SNACK: Leaving town for Spring Break? Make one last stop into the book fair and stock up on some great reads to pass the time in the car or on the airplane. Grab an after school snack while you're shopping!
Spread the word to your family and friends and encourage them to come out to the book fair or fill out the attached Gift of Literacy Gift Certificate for your favorite student or classroom. Banana Seeds donates to HTS 25% of the proceeds from all book purchases during Book Fair week! |  |  |
